The complete wall mounted swipe sensor tap kit
The IWS-04 is an electronic wall mounted tap operated by a simple swipe of the hand — swipe to start, swipe to stop. That deliberate action, developed for healthcare environments, avoids the false triggering of ordinary motion sensors and gives users full control of the flow. This complete kit pairs the in-wall unit and swipe sensor faceplate with a brushed stainless spout, so one order covers the whole installation.
Configure your kit
1. Power — Battery or 6V mains. Choose the battery option where running power to the wall cavity is impractical — ideal for retrofits and refurbishments — or 6V mains (via plug-pack transformer) for new builds and high-traffic washrooms where you’d rather never think about batteries. 2. Faceplate — Chrome or Matte Black. Classic chrome suits traditional fitouts; matte black brings contemporary styling and stronger visual contrast against light tiles — a genuine benefit in accessible and aged-care bathrooms.
3. Spout — 150mm, 200mm or 265mm. Match the reach to your basin: 150mm for compact hand basins, 200mm as the standard all-rounder, 265mm for deep basins and troughs. Each brushed stainless spout includes a matching cover flange and a Neoperl 5 L/min laminar-flow insert for a clean, splash-free stream. Aim for the stream to land at or just behind the waste outlet — send us a basin photo if you’re unsure.
Formerly sold under the Caroma name
The IWS-04 was previously sold under the Caroma Sanitron name alongside the IWS-03, and no longer appears in Caroma’s catalogue — owners are often told it’s unavailable. It remains in production with Sanitron, the family-owned Brisbane manufacturer of commercial sanitary electronics since 2002. Units installed during the Caroma era share the same design and spare parts as the kits sold here.
