Description
The new Sanitron WELS smart-demand rated electronic flush valve is easy to install and flushes individual urinals automatically after use. Designed for individual stall urinals with a flush rim, the electronic flush valve will suit a wide variety of urinals. The flush valve can be operated directly off the mains water supply and can be installed in ceiling cavities or ducts.
The electronic sensor can detect high frequency usage and automatically adjusts the flushing frequency to maximise water saving. Users are only detected if they remain directly in front of the urinal for a certain time. Any passers-by and neighbouring users are not detected or ignored. The flush is automatically activated once the user leaves the urinal.
WELS guidelines have determined that with respect to efficiency the average urinal currently uses 2.2L water per flush. When the Sanitron flush valve is matched with a 5 Star rated urinal only 1 litre of water is required – a 55% saving in water consumption.
